Run For The Children, a certified 5K Race Saturday January 27, 2007 8:00 AM Dade
City
On Saturday January 27, 2007, 109 runners from Pasco County and the surrounding Tampa Bay area converged on Dade City to participate in the Run for the Children 5-K race. This race is part of the Dade City Kumquat Festival.
The Run for the Children event is designed to create an awareness about the Guardian ad Litem program as well as the needs of the abused, abandoned, and neglected children in our community. Funds raised by this event benefit the Guardian ad Litem program and these vulnerable children by providing for their physical, psychological, educational and social needs.
